Therapy for Mothers and Couples

The couple subsystem holds families together, and mothers are often the steady force ensuringchildren and families are cared for, loved, and given room to thrive.Motherhood, however, is not always instinctive in the ways we expect. What I have learned isthat most parents deeply want to be attuned, responsive, and connected.I am here to support you in moving toward that.

When It Starts to Feel Heavy

You may be used to holding everything together—but:

  • The mental and emotional load feels constant
  • Your relationship feels distant or strained
  • Parenting feels more overwhelming than expected
  • There is a quiet sense of loneliness

When both partners feel overwhelmed, the relationship can become unsteady—and the impact isfelt across the family.

Why I Do This Work

After three traumatic births, I did not receive the support I needed. That experience shapes how I show up now.I understand how much mothers and partners are carrying—and I offer the kind of support I onceneeded: steady, attuned, and responsive.

How I Work

My approach is supportive and collaborative. You are the leader of your life, and together we focus on:

  • Coping in healthier, more sustainable ways
  • Setting and maintaining boundaries
  • Communicating your needs clearly
  • Strengthening connection in your relationship

My work is informed by Bowenian and attachment-based (Bowlby) theories, with integration ofsomatic EMDR approaches.

You do not have to keep carrying this on your own.

Therapy offers a space to slow down, feel supported, and reconnect—with yourself and yourpartner.

Schedule a consultation. Ask questions. Take the first step toward a more connected and steady way of living. I would be honored to work with you.
