Born and raised in Houston, Tori received her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Houston Clear Lake. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate in Texas working under the supervision of Sherry J. Duson, LPC-S, LMFT-S, and has specialized training in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and works with individuals, couples and families.

In Tori’s own words, “I help women begin to show up and heal in all of their relationships. My journey through motherhood has inspired me to bring hope and encouragement into other’s lives. My own experiences with step-parenting, fertility, birth, and adoption have created in me a deep desire to support women and families in their pain and transitions.

I work with couples to help them accept each other’s differences and lovingly hold each other accountable for change. The transition to parenthood is a vulnerable time and I believe it is important to create a space where couples can examine their expectations and create fulfilling solutions. I also work with engaged couples in practical skill-building and supportive self-discovery.

Having worked with people from a variety of backgrounds, I am particularly sensitive to the impact of social and cultural narratives upon individuals’ thoughts and beliefs. I firmly believe in each person’s capacity to use their problems in new ways so that they can live a better story.”

Tori will be working primarily in our CPFH North office in The Woodlands. To set up a complimentary phone consultation or first appointment with Tori, please call 713.561.3884 or email her at tori@cpfh.org.
