Angela Hill is dedicated to providing positive support during the postpartum period and during the transition to parenthood. Her philosophy centers on a belief that everyone needs a safe place to share ideas and develop skills that are often obscured by the fog of new parenthood or neutralized by trauma, grief or loss. With so much concern about the "new normal" that life changes or a new baby bring to a person’s sense of being and to a couple’s connection and intimacy, Angela believes that it is important to deliver an approach with a foundation of empathy and deliberate enabling of a search for self, a search for solutions.

Drawing from her educational background in Social Work and broad experience with children, individuals and families, Angie meets her clients where they are and gently guides toward self-learning that can only be gained through introspection and collaborative, open discussion. Angie’s own life journey as mother, friend, and counselor has continually informed her commitment to learn and discover and share techniques and approaches with families during major life transitions.

Angie received her Master of Social Work from The University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work and is a Licensed Master of Social Work with the State of Texas. She is a Gottman Institute ‘Bringing Baby Home’ certified educator and has received advanced training in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders through Postpartum Support International.

Angie’s experience and interests include: perinatal and infant loss, grief, parent support and education.
